We rushed out to catch the sunset, as a quick in the moment decision. As the sun was already on its way down we came to a crossroad. Left to the lighthouse or right to Sanna bay? We stopped the car to think, however we quickly realised that we were wasting our optimum photo opportunity so we made the rash decision to turn left. Speeding along the rollercoaster of a road we raced against the clock to the lighthouse.
After spending a few minutes at the lighthouse we decided to head off elsewhere. The sun was not in favour of slowing down for our sake so once again we rode our makeshift race car down the track. Acknowledging the sinking sun we knew that it would take too long to get to Sanna so we stopped off at a bay closer by, called Portuairk. There, we took advantage of the reflection of the stellar sunset off the calm water.
As we walzed closer to the shore we saw areas we’d photographed already taken become prettier as the sun sank further below.
